Alors, voilà, moi Trevor Andrew, je l'ai toujours kiffé en tant que snowboardeur (oui parce que dans une autre vie je faisais beaucoup de snowboard), puis quand il s'est mis à faire du son il y a 5/6 ans, j'ai pas vraiment su si j'aimais ou pas, je me suis jamais mise dedans, mais je ne détestais pas enfin je sais pas, puis j'étais pas objective, vu qu'il est quand même assez sexy...
Puis là, vlà, M. Andrew se tape Mme Gold, donc du coup, il a tapé dans un tout autre milieu, et s'est mis à faire une musique que finalement je ne comprends pas plus.
MAIS, cette putain de track avec Spank Rock, Lil Jon & The Mr.Move est plutôt conne et super efficace, elle marche un peu comme 'Pass Out' de Tinie Tempah.
Le truc drôle aussi c'est de reconnaître des têtes rencontrées à NYC qui genre se la colle, ce dont je suis sûre c'est qu'Ease DaMan était défoncé pour de vrai... (et Trevor Andrew est toujours aussi chanmé...)
So yeah, Trevor Andrew, I've always liked him as a snowboarder (cuz yeah, in an other life I was snowboarding a lot), but when he came on making music, i never really knew if I liked it or not, I mean i didn't hate it but, I didn't like it, anyway, I maybe didn't hate it cuz he's just hot...
And then, Mr Andrew came on bangin Mrs Gold, so he also banged a different scene, and he came on making another kind of music, which I don't really understand either.
BUT, there's this fuckin track with Spank Rock, Lil Jon & The Mr.Move which is kinda stupid but super efficient, it works a bit like 'Pass Out' from Tinie Tempah.
The funny thing, it's to see a bunch of peeps met in NYC, goin on the wasted style in the video, and really I've a special one to Ease DaMan... Man, I really hope you are preparing a whole digital file containing your phone pics, ustream videos, tweets & shits like that for your son, just to make him never forget the right way (or the wrong one, it depends on your point of view).
Hier soir, les potos de Playdoe jouaient au Paleo Festival, un des gros festival Suisse, celui où tu croises enfants, grands-mères, jeunes cons et punks à chiens. Le genre de truc d'où tu sors crasseux et saoulé d'avoir renifler les vapeurs des gars qui squattent le camping pendant une semaine et de t'être fait renverser 2 litres de bières sur tes fringues mais des fois ça vaut le coup.
PLAYDOE ont complètement défoncé la scène du Village du Monde, et ils ont mis tout le monde d'accord sur le fait qu'ils n'avaient rien à faire sur une scène dédiée à l'Afrique! THIS IS PARTEY SHIT! Ils ont retourné tout le monde du début à la fin, et si t'arrives à faire bouger des suisses, alors le monde t'appartient! haha!
Le show complet en video, c'est là! (on a eu la video dans les mains 5mn après la fin du show, dingue!) Et un sérieux shoot à l'équipe de Sierre qui se sont tapés du ballon à gonfler toute la journée!

Yesterday nite, the homies from Playdoe played at Paleo Festival, one of the biggest festival in Switzerland. The kind of one where you meet kids, grandmas, stoopid youngsters & doggy-dready-punks. The kind of shit where you get dirty and you leave pissed of cuz of smelling vapors from the guys crashing at the camping for the week and cuz of the ones knocking beers over you... But sometimes, those kind of festivals bring you big surprises.
PLAYDOE has properly rocked the stage of the World Village, and they made everyone unsderstand that they have nothin to do on a stage dedicated to Africa! THIS IS PARTEY SHIT!
Everyone bounced & danced from start to end, they're really gettin the hype down there. Good point guys, we loved it.
The complete show in video, right here below (we got the video in our hands 5mn after the end of the gig...can you say epic?!!!) And a big shout to the guys from Sierre who spent the day blowin balloons!

Ouais, celle pour laquelle Celia va me défoncer la tête à force de la passer. Bon j'alterne avec Stuck to U d'Alchemist (la prod. pas la track de Prodigy, j'aime pas vraiment comment il pose dessus, idem pour les lyrics, plutôt cheap et baclés), mais c'est ancien donc on va parler d'un truc nouveau.
'My Attribute' ça sonne comme un back to basics, et le clip c'est la même, la street en brut. Ok mis à part le placement produit iPhone 4 au début, (j'espère juste qu'ils ont récup de la tune au moins pour ça), la réa c'est plutôt du low budget. Moi perso, je valide, la photo est vraiment nice et ça change des actuelles surprod de clips pourris.
L'album 'The War Report 2' vient de sortir, shoppable sur le net mais pas encore chez les disquaires en Europe.

Yep, it's about the one my flatmate gonna slap my face if I don't stop to play it I guess. I'm actually also playin a lot 'Stuck to U' by The Alchemist (the production not the track wit Prodigy, I'm not really into his rap style on dis one and the lyrics are... URGH...kinda cheap and botched), but it's an old track anyway so let's talk about the new shit
'My Attribute' sounds like a back to basics, and the music video is all about dat too, the rough streets. I agree, they could have get rid of the iPhone 4 product placement (at least I hope they got money for dat) but the making is kind of homemade style and seems filmed in less than 4 hours (back to basics!). Personally, I'm totally into it, photography is really nice and it's cool to have sumethin kickin the weird superproductions they throw in our faces right now.
